One of the Dutch Afrobeat pioneer Henry X will guide you through this 'African music journey & We invited: ' TEKNO ', who will set the stage on fire with his celebrated live performance. Since establishing himself with his ‘pon pon’ sound, which can be heard in his hits ‘Pana’ and ‘Yawa’, the Nigerian artist and producer has become one of the A-list names in the Afrobeat scene. .As if this wasn’t enough, The Official dj of Wizkid, New York's Own, DJ Tunez will also be present.. His track ‘Get Up currently high rotated on FunX Radio. 2nd Single ft Wandecoal: Iskaba is considered one of the hottest African pop songs of 2017.
Dutch World Stage tijdens inJazz 2018
Op vrijdagavond 29 juni krijgen vier world acts de kans om zich te showcasen op de Dutch World Stage in LantarenVenster. Zij presenteren zich niet alleen aan het Nederlandse publiek, maar ook aan een selecte groep Europese professionals waaronder programmeurs, managers, labels en journalisten.
De geselecteerde acts zijn: Lingua Franca Ensemble, Shishani & the Namibian Tales, Son Swagga en Tabanka.
