This afternoon you can hear the best in African live music, attend dance workshops, children's activities, and see surprising guest musicians perform. De titel van zijn laatste album spreekt boekdelen. From Africa With Fury: Rise moet de luisteraar wakker schudden en meeslepen. Muziek is hier de motor om een sterk sociaal bewogen boodschap over te brengen. Het tekent de afrobeat waarmee Seun Kuti in de voetsporen treedt van zijn wereldberoemde vader Fela Kuti. Als 30-jarige bezingt hij de problemen van deze tijden zoals zijn vader als dertigjarige de misstanden uit de jaren 70 aan de kaak stelde. Frappant is dat hij dit met dezelfde band doet als zijn vader: Egypt 80.
