16 jaar geleden was Sekouba “Bambino” Diabaté al eens te gast in Theater Landgraaf. Over dit legendarische concert wordt nog veel gesproken. Sekouba stond toen aan het begin van zijn solocarrière. Inmiddels is hij uitgegroeid tot 1 van Afrika’s supersterren die niet alleen volle zalen maar zelfs volle stadions trekt. Qua populariteit staat Sekouba Bambino er op gelijke hoogte met sterren als Youssou N’dour en Salif Keita. Niet voor niets wordt hij The National Treasure of Guinea genoemd. Hij komt met zijn band speciaal uit Parijs naar Theater Landgraaf, het enige concert in Nederland. Met ook Roots-eetcafé (14,00) + African Dance night met Dj Rik, le professeur d'ambiance.
