Thank You Netherlands is een initiatief van de Okyeman Foundation. Dit innovatieve en interessante project betreft een fototentoonstelling en film die een realistisch beeld geven van de succesvolle ontwikkelingssamenwerking tussen Nederland en Ghana.
Indépendance. Congolese verhalen over 50 jaar onafhankelijkheid
30 juni 1960 : Congo roept zijn onafhankelijkheid uit. Nu een tentoonstelling die de gebeurtenissen van vlak voor, tijdens en na de onafhankelijkheid in een historische, politieke en geografische context plaatst. Congolese getuigen krijgen het woord.
Kunstenares Marthe Nso Abomo uit Kameroen
Het werk van Marthe Nso Abomois (1953, Kameroen) is typisch Afrikaans en visueel krachtig. Ze schildert onbevangen, intuïtief en oorspronkelijk. Marthe is autodidact en heeft zich op geheel eigen wijze ontwikkeld. Zelf zegt ze: 'Ik schilder wie ik ben'.
The Places We Live - foto's Jonas Bendiksen
Voor het eerst wonen er meer mensen in de stad dan op het platteland. Magnum-fotograaf Jonas Bendiksen fotografeerde twintig trotse families in Nairobi, Caracas, Jakarta en Mumbai. In kader van Campagne voor menswaardig wonen van Amnesty International.

The Ifa Lethu Foundation has been instrumental in repatriating South African art produced during apartheid that ended up overseas because there was no local market for the work of black South African artists. The show explores this previously lost artistic heritage.

El Anatsui - When I Last Wrote to You about Africa
Brings together the full range of the artist’s work, from wood trays referring to traditional symbols of the Akan people of Ghana; to early ceramics from the artist’s Broken Pots series, driftwood assemblages that refer to the trans-Atlantic slave trade, and wooden sculptures carved with a chainsaw; to the luminous metal wall-hangings of recent years.
Kith, Kin & Khaya by David Goldblatt
Described as a contemporary master and South Africa's most distinguished photographer, Goldblatt, now 79, has for decades used the South African condition - its complexities, graces and obsessions - as material for his mesmerizing work. Recently on show at the Jewish Museum in New York, 'Kith, Kin and Khaya' is a showcase of David Goldblatt's black and white silver gelatin prints from 1948 through to 2009.
