Met de bekende award winnende 'Afrikaapse' hiphop/ spoken word artiest Jitsvinger. Celebrating Life is een voorstelling met poëzie, zang, dans en prachtige videobeelden van de Westkaap. Het bekendeKhayelitsha United Mambazo Choir (bekend van o.a de musical Amandla! Mandela), uit de townships van Kaapstad, neemt je aan de hand van thema's als taal, identiteit en afkomst mee naar hun geboortegrond. Samen met de zangeressen Lungiswa Plaatjie en Nomapostile Nyiki bezorgen ze je een brede glimlach én kippenvel.

There is great excitement brewing for the 7th annual Baxter Zabalaza Theatre Festival where productions from all over the Western Cape will be showcased. The hugely popular development festival kicks off with the Zabalaza Weekend on 18 & 19 March when all venues and spaces in the theatre complex will pulsate with dynamic and diverse artistic activities. This will be followed by the Main Programme from Monday 20 to Friday 24 March daily and culminating in the award ceremony on the Saturday. Here the best of the festival production will be selected, along with several other awards in various categories.
