The African Festival of the Arts (AFA) is an annual celebration of arts and culture from across the African Diaspora. It is the largest neighborhood festival in Chicago, and the largest of its kind in the U.S.  In it's 21st year, the festival has workshops, entertainment and food stalls.

Feestelijk en swingend programma van muzikanten, dansers, artiesten, workshoppers, standhouders voor het goede doel en fairtrade en kinderen van ‘all over the World’. Met onder meer Marokkaanse rai en traditionals door Marmaas, dansbare Toeareg-blues van Kel Assouf en opzwepende krijgsdans van Dousebane uit Rwanda.
