Ze werd bekend door de rol van Prinses Karaba in de musical Kirikou Et Karaba, maar in Nederland maakte ze in 2010 grote indruk tijdens de World Sessions en het Amsterdam Roots Festival. Als een gedreven vernieuwster van de moderne wassoulou- muziek trad de jonge Diaware al op met onder anderen Youssou N'dour en zelfs Herbie Hancock! De Cubaanse multi-instrumentalist Roberto Fonseca begon zijn carrière al in de vroege jaren negentig. Hij stamt uit een muzikale familie en speelt percussie, piano en leidt zijn eigen band. Hij put uit de rijke traditie van de Afro-Cubaanse muziek.
