2 keer won zangeres Tutu Puoane de South African Music Awards. En nog altijd treedt ze veel op in haar geboorteland. België is daarnaast haar tweede muzikale thuishaven. Daar vond ze de geestverwanten voor haar vloeiende, ongedwongen jazz. Die soms Afrikaans gekleurd is, maar vooral werelds van toon. Puoane had veel succes met haar Miriam Makeba-album, opgenomen met het Brussels Jazz Orchestra. Nu is ze terug met gevarieerd eigen repertoire en bijzondere covers. In het Zoeloe, een van de Zuid-Afrikaanse talen, duidt 'iLanga' op de zon. En zonnig is Tutu Puoane's gelijknamige album. 20.30 EN 22.30
