La nuit de griot

Griot (Djeli) is the name of a west african poet, bard and musician, who is considered to be the keeper and storyteller of non-written history and tradition. The Griot bears the cultural knowledge and identitiy of all people. On this event the Griots (respresented by prominent african artists) will come and tell these stories like they do traditionally in Africa.
