Artscape Women’s Festival celebrates humanity

Stage productions, workshops and exhibitions. This year’s fare offers a continuance of last year’s Gender Equality Discussion Panel with a report back of the 2011 audit and further discussion facilitated by The Triangle Project.I Stand Corrected is physical theatre responding to homophobia and transphobia, hate rapes and murders. For the first time in Afrikaans, Die Vagina Monoloë gives a voice to women (and men!) to voice their secret and suppressed fears. A jazz concert, The Eve ‘A Celebration of the curve of humanity’ brings together original music, unique arrangements of jazz standards and poetry, paying homage to the human spirit. And much more!
