The Supreme PriceThe documentary film The Supreme Price tells the story of Nigerian human rights activist Hafsat Abiola and her family. Hafsat Abiola will be present at this film seminar organized in collaboration with the Movies That Matter Festival, an initiative of Amnesty International. In 1993, Hafsat Abiola's father M.K.O. Abiola was elected President of Nigeria, but his victory was shortly afterwards annulled and he was arrested. While he was imprisoned, his wife Kudirat took over leadership of the pro-democracy movement,  winning international attention for the Nigerian struggle against human-rights violations perpetrated by the military dictatorship. After the screening, Hafsat Abiola will be interviewed by ASC researcher Prof. Stephen Ellis, followed by a Q & A with the public. Please register
