Centah #3 w/ Kampire, Blck Mamba, Faisal, Ninette & MarieLou

Centah are club nights at Het Depot celebrating futuristic club sounds co-curated by Blck Mamba. The dj-booth is placed in the centre of our venue for people to dance all around it.  DJ Kampire is one of the emerging young artists in Uganda. In addition to being a DJ, she is a writer and organizer of festivals such as Nyege Nyege in Jinja, the meeting place for the East African underground art scene. Meet the co-curator of Centah: Blck Mamba! This Brussels based artist of Nigerian descent, strives to bring a new vibe to nightlife with a mix of the latest hip hop and club music, that is, not-so-serious music to dance to, think UK funky, amapiano, baltimore, grime, afrobeats, hard drum, perreo, dancehall, baile and so on. Faisal is a Belgian DJ and producer best known for his genre-bending sets and wide array of influences. Outlining creativity and defining genres in music is a thing of the past and that is what Faisal keeps in mind going into every set, trying to push things forward with new jams without losing touch with that classic good good. Ninette is an Antwerp based teenage DJ with Congolese roots. In 2022 she took part in a workshop by Blck Mamba. There she got in touch with dj-ing and learned how to spin. After that workshop, she practiced every day to get better at transitions. MarieLou is a Belgian/Congolese DJ.
