Festival au Desert

Festival au Desert lies just two hours from Timbuktu in the north of Mali. Organisers say there aim is to combine modernity and tradition by opening its doors to the outside world while while preserving the cultures and traditions of the desert. During the three day festrival over 30 artisitc groups from all over the world are invited to present their art.
