PhD defence Sebastiaan Soeters

Sebastiaan Soeters conducts historical PhD research on the socio-economic history of Tamale, the largest city in northern Ghana. The research uses the introduction of motorized transportation in 1920 as a lens through which to understand social and economic change during the period 1907 to 1957.
