Towards an African Renaissance: 50 years of Union and Transformation

In light of the OAU-AU’s 50th Anniversary and of its Assembly’s reaffirmation of a commitment to “advancing continental transformation in the spirit of championing Pan-Africanism and African Renaissance”, this event seeks to inform our broad ISS audience on the concept of the African Renaissance in order to trigger constructive debates around its relevance and developmental strategies going forward from this milestone.
