This debut feature film, set in Lagos, Nigeria, tells the story of Bambino, a well-liked delivery driver in his neighbourhood, and his encounter with Bawa, a charismatic photographer. The two quickly become friends as they explore the city for a photography competition. However, through Bawa’s lens, a more intimate relationship develops. The growing attraction between the two men, in a country where homosexuality is severely punished, is central to the film. The characters navigate a hostile Lagos, where their glances and interactions convey the complexity of their desires and emotions.
